On Thursday, 30/1/2025, the Dean of the College of Law at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khaled K. Awda delivered a lecture at the Center for Development and Continuing Education at Maysan University on "Designing Education for the Second Unit" within the Teaching Methods Course.

During the lecture, he reviewed the importance of educational design as one of the modern trends that enhance the quality of teaching, stressing the need for effective planning and implementation of curricula. He also focused on a set of basic axes, such as defining educational goals, choosing appropriate materials, diversifying teaching methods, and effective assessment methods.

The presentation included three main axes:

The first axis:

Addressed the relationship between educational design and basic concepts such as teaching strategies and different teaching styles.

The second axis:

Focused on the quality of education and its relationship to the design of curricula and educational programs.

The third axis:

Presented the theoretical foundations of educational design with simple steps for the design process and how to formulate goals and classify behavioral goals in scientific ways.

 The lecture also discussed how to use this information to improve teaching methods, which contributes to providing a better and skilled learning environment for students.
